The safe SmartLine modules can be mounted in control boxes and serve for the connection of mechanical switching contacts such as e-stop switches or door switches up to the control category 4 or SIL3. Depending on the version, ClassicLine field modules with safe inputs are suited for the connection of mechanical contacts, electronic sensors or light curtains. They can also be used up to control category 4 to EN954-1 or SIL3 to IEC61508. Using standard outputs, door guard locking systems can for example be controlled. | |

 | Fail-safe inductive sensors
Here you will find the first electronic fail-safe sensors approved up to TÜV category 4, SIL 3 and PL e, which do not require a special counterpart but switch directly on the door or a stainless steel or mild steel target. They are wear-free and largely independent from mounting tolerances after a longer use of the doors. | |
