Bearing applications
Failure causes: wear, misalignment, lubrication problems. efector octavis monitors the inner race, outer race and rolling elements of a bearing.
In order to monitor the critical frequencies it needs the following data:
- metric data of the bearing (number of rolling elements, rolling element diameter and pitch
- diameter or DIN number)
- Rotational speed (rpm)

efector octavis reliably detects unbalance at an early stage. Condition diagnosis allows predictive action to prevent big damage or downtime.
In order to monitor unbalance, the rotational speed is required as a parameter.
