Introduction
Level detection in hygienic applications has special requirements for measuring units and process connections. The sensor has to meet the highest hygienic requirements as well as being extremely precise with excellent long-term
stability. The pressure switches of the series PF and PI are perfectly suited for these requirements.
The advantages
ifm pressure sensors feature a ceramic measuring cell which is to the greatest possible extent resistant to aggressive media. This guarantees use in a wide range of applications. Due to flush mountable installation in the tank or vessel wall reliable cleaning and sterilisation in the process are possible. The housing is potted so offering optimum protection against air humidity and chemicals.Due to the ifm-specific thread concept all common process adapters such as SMS, DRD,Clamp, or pipe fitting can be adapted.
